St Andrews discover
Golfing heritage, medieval ruins, and sweeping beaches come together in this historic university town on Fife's east coast.
St Andrews is easy to explore on foot. Its university, cathedral ruins, and castle showcase the town's rich history. Founded in 1413, the university is Scotland's oldest; the cathedral recalls its past as a major medieval pilgrimage site.
The Old Course and Swilcan Bridge are icons of golf tradition. West Sands and East Sands add lovely coastal walks to any city tour. Playing a round of golf or joining a guided tour is not automatically included in a visit and must be booked separately.
